From the end of 2019, Buoi Cai village in Phu Cuong commune (Tan Lac) officially opened a community tourism destination. Together with Luy Arab hamlet - Phong Phu commune, Chien hamlet - Van Son commune, Buoi Cai became one of the three models of specialized quality sites being put into operation in the area.
Homestays in Buoi Cu village, Phu Cuong commune (Tan Lac) preparing the conditions to welcome tourists.
Nature has endowed Grapefruit with a mild climate and a diverse ecological system. Especially since the State's investment in upgrading Highway 6, which has created an ideal stop at the White Stone Pass. In addition, people in the hamlet consciously preserve traditional cultural values. Many fine customs and practices are still preserved. The lifestyle of the Muong people is also protected. In particular, 100% of people's houses are still following the traditional stilt house architecture. This is an advantage for Buoi Cai people to promote and is the basis for the AOP project in Vietnam to invest and support to improve sustainable livelihoods in ethnic minority areas.
Mr. Bui Van Hong, homestay Hong Chuyen’ owner said: At the end of 2018, the AOP non-governmental organization helped homestay households in the village to borrow money to purchase and improve homestay conditions, with a loan of 30 million VND / households, under the interest-free lending method for the first 30 months. After a while, the project continued to lend to households an additional 15 million VND / household. In addition, the project also provides support for facilities, equipment for cultural and artistic activities, supporting people to participate in training courses. From here, in the hamlet, 3 standard homestays were formed: homestay Hong Chuyen, homestay Thao Nguyen and homestay Binh Dinh.
At the same time, the NTP for New Rural Construction has invested in upgrading concrete roads in the villages and widening the roads for convenience and easier access. People actively plant flowers and ornamental plants to create brilliant flower roads. They also regularly clean village roads and alleys, making visitors feel the beautiful and peaceful rural mountainous space more deeply.
Community tourism is ready to go into operation and exploitation. However, comrade Bui Van Tuan, cell secretary of Buoi Cai hamlet, is concerned: The Covid-19 epidemic has directly affected tourism in general, and community tourism in particular. In addition, grapefruit is a new site of local quality control, so not many tourists know it. Currently, there is a very beautiful cave in the Buoi mountain area, which is suitable for the interests of many tourists, especially foreigners who love explorations. From the village, you can take a 30-minute walk through Buoi Mountain to the very close Da Trang pass crab attraction. Unfortunately, there is no road, so the beautiful cave has not yet been put into operation.
Buoi Cu village has 107 households and 531 people. From the time of its construction to becoming a place of local expertise, the people always unanimously responded to preserving traditional cultural identity associated with tourism development. Community tourism has led to the formation of 2 music teams specializing in performing gongs, dancing, singing, a culinary team, and bicycle rental service, etc. Also according to the village secretary, in the long term, in order for Buoi Cai community tourism to attract visitors, tourists, aspirations and proposals of the people that coming here, the leaders of the commune and district are interested in improving the pedestrian walkway to Da Trang pass and investing in projects on the way to Buoi cave to create more diversified tourism products to meet the needs of visitors.
